Two best pals are granted a whole week off from marital responsibilities in the Farrelly brothers' latest comedy.
Rick (Owen Wilson) and Fred (Jason Sudeikis) have been best buddies for years. Both are, to all appearances, happily married, but privately they're frustrated with their lot in life. Sensing Rick and Fred's 'grass is greener' attitude, their wives (Jenna Fischer and Christina Applegate) decide to grant them each a "hall pass" - one week of freedom where they can do exactly as they please without any consequences. The ladies are confident that the guys will quickly realise that even though there's plenty of totty available, none of it is interested in them. And they're right - it doesn't take long for the sheen to rub off single life, but the boys are determined to make it work for the sake of men on hall passes everywhere...
