Scrat sets an entire continent adrift, leading to the biggest Ice Age adventure yet - in eye-popping 3D!

Our prehistoric friends are about to face their greatest ever challenge! While pursuing his elusive acorn, Scrat inadvertently triggers a cataclysm that sends the continents on their separate ways. Manny the mammoth (Ray Romano) and Sid the sloth (John Leguizamo) are separated from their families as they're washed away on an iceberg. Once again, they're joined by grumpy sabre-toothed cat Diego (Dennis Leary). So begins an epic new adventure in which they encounter all manner of weird giant sea creatures. They also join battle with a band of ruthless pirate critters led by Captain Gutt (Peter Dinklage). Katy Perry : Part Of Me

Today in Llandudno I have been to see Katy Perry : Part Of Me.

Pop sensation Katy Perry tells her own incredible true story in a vibrant musical documentary

How does a girl from a sheltered Christian background go on to become a global superstar, selling 11 million albums worldwide? It's an amazing story, and now Katy Perry tells it in her own words. Katy says she was inspired by Madonna's 'Truth or Dare' documentary to capture a snapshot of her life with this entertaining blend of documentary and concert film. Archive footage reveals her strict religious upbringing, during which she was forbidden to listen to secular music. She also talks about her abortive early gospel singing career. But perseverance won through as Katy achieved her dream. Now she says her ambition with those colourful live shows is to make people smile, while her songs form a 'mad diary' of her life. There have also been bumps along the way, and Katy takes the opportunity to talk about her short-lived marriage to Russell Brand.

Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World

Today in Llandudno I have been to see Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World.

Keira Knightley and Steve Carell team up for a funny and touching end-of-the-world comedy!

A 75 mile wide asteroid is on a collision course with the Earth. Humanity has just 21 days left. While the media provide a cheery countdown to doom, interspersed with classic rock, people start to seize the moment. Among them is the wife of meek, conformist insurance salesman Dodge (Steve Carell), who promptly leaves him! Adrift, Dodge teams up with extrovert neighbour Penny (Keira Knightley) and they hit the road together. He's determined to track down his school sweetheart, while she plans to spend her last days with her family in England. But as they flee the riot-torn city, this odd couple embark on a journey that is as much personal as it is incident-packed. Best known for adapting 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist' for the screen, writer/director Lorene Scafaria delivers a moving, frequently hilarious film that explores apocalypse on a human scale.

The Dark Knight Rises

Today in Llandudno I have been to see The Dark Knight Rises.

Christopher Nolan's breathtaking Batman trilogy concludes in jaw-droppingly epic style!

Eight years have passed since the tumultuous events of 'The Dark Knight'. Having taken the rap for inspirational DA Harvey Dent's crimes, Batman (Christian Bale) is in exile. His alter-ego, Bruce Wayne, has yet to recover. At least Gotham City is finally at peace. But not for long. As the mysterious Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) tells Wayne, there's a storm brewing. And that storm brings the full destructive force of the masked, terrifyingly evil Bane (Tom Hardy). When Bane declares all-out war on Gotham, Batman has no choice but to return to the fray for the ultimate showdown. Visionary director Christopher Nolan delivers the finale we've all been waiting for as the Dark Knight legend goes into climactic overdrive. Anne Hathaway's Selina Kyle/Catwoman brings leather-clad sex appeal. And brilliant Brit Tom Hardy, who was so extraordinary in 'Bronson', stakes his claim as the ultimate villain.

The Amazing Spider-Man

Tonight I have been to see The Amazing Spider-Man.

The Marvel superhero summer continues with a brilliant re-imagining of the Spider-Man story!

Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) is your typical awkward teenager, struggling to find his way in the world. Abandoned by his parents as a boy, he's been raised by his uncle Ben (Martin Sheen) and aunt May (Sally Field). Like many teens, he's also dealing with the joys and pains of first love, having fallen for beautiful schoolmate Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). But as Peter is about to discover, he is anything but a normal teen. Finding a mysterious briefcase left by his father, he unravels the secret of his destiny as Spider-Man and embarks on a quest that leads to sinister Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans). The stage is set for a spectacular showdown with Connors' terrifying alter-ego - The Lizard! British actor Andrew Garfield brings a completely fresh approach to Spider-Man opposite his real-life girlfriend Emma Stone in this incredible reboot.

Storage 24

Tonight I have been to see Storage 24.

An alien predator stalks a locked storage facility in this British sci-fi thriller starring Noel Clarke.

Charlie (Noel Clarke) and Shelley (Antonia Campbell-Hughes) have just broken up. Now it's time to visit the storage unit where their possessions are kept - and divide them up. Keeping the ex-couple company are their friends Mark (Colin O'Donoghue) and Nikki (Laura Haddock). But what the preoccupied foursome don't know is that London is on lockdown. A military cargo plane has crash-landed, dispersing its highly classified contents across the city. It quickly becomes clear that an extra-terrestrial has somehow got into the damaged storage facility. And now the four are trapped with this malevolent life form in a building expressly designed for maximum security! Horror director Johannes Roberts moves into sci-fi with this tense and claustrophobic thrill ride. For star, co-writer and producer Noel Clarke, it's a welcome return to alien-battling 'Doctor Who' territory.

Friends With Kids

This Afternoon I have been to see Friends With Kids.

Two best friends try an unconventional parenting technique in this heart-warming romantic comedy.

Julie (Jennifer Westfeldt) and Jason (Adam Scott) are platonic best friends from college days. They've watched as their mutual pals get all coupled-up and their lives change with the arrival of children. Leslie (Maya Rudolph) and Alex (Chris O'Dowd), who used to be appalled at the sight of kids in posh restaurants, now have two out-of-control children of their own. And whereas once Missy (Kristen Wiig) and Ben (Jon Hamm) couldn't keep their hands off one another, now they argue and struggle with a toddler. Convinced there must be a better way, Julie and Jason decide to have a baby together while dating other people. This proves easier said than done when Julie begins to develop feelings for the father of her child. 'Friends with Kids' was inspired by real-life child-free couple Jennifer Westfeldt and 'Mad Men' star Jon Hamm's own observations and experiences.
