127 Hours

Tonight I have been to see 127 Hours.

Danny Boyle returns with this inspiring true story of a mountain climber who becomes trapped and must resort to desperate measures in order to survive.
Director Danny Boyle follows up the success of Slumdog Millionaire with a very different tale, although it's just as stunning. It's a film about human courage, based on the gruelling true story of Aron Ralston (James Franco). Aron is a lone mountain climber whose hand becomes trapped under a boulder in the blazing sun of the beautiful but remote Utah desert. Over the course of six hellish days, while he tries to free himself, the climber looks back on the events that brought him there and the people in his life. As time runs out for him, Aron must face the ultimate test of courage if he is to survive. Boyle delivers yet another brilliant movie, and actor James Franco is simply excellent as Aron.
